The Waiting Room- early 70s Genesis cover band 30 Jun 2010, 9:33 pm
I saw The Waiting Room -a Peter Gabriel era Genesis cover band (out of Rochester, NY I believe) and these guys were great. The singer wears
the costumes, etc and the band is top notch. They played all the great
songs from Nursery Crime thru The Lamb.

Q: for Anthony Phillips Experts HELP! 7 Apr 2010, 6:02 pm
I have a mystery song from a stack CDR's I failed to list titles for long a go. I swear it's Ant Phillips, but I have gone through all my
CDs of Ant, (about 12 of them) and I can't seem to locate the title or
album origin and it's driving me MAD! The track is 6:16 exactly, all
solo 12 string, all instrumental, and very lovely. I even researched

Someone in ATL TV likes Genesis. (SIGHTING) 9 Feb 2010, 10:37 pm
Or I guess I should say "audition". In a curious development, I've heard in the last few months two snippets
of Genesis pieces used as bumper music for WPBA, Atlanta's PBS TV
station, and they're quite the ear-openers, too: One of the main
station ID sequences uses the fadeout of "Firth of Fifth", and a

PG New record and small tour 5 Feb 2010, 5:36 am
I'm a bit confused by this record and mini tour. Reading the initial leaked reviews of the new record, it will definitely be a challenge
to
hear a PG work of just him and an orchestra doing covers. As far as
the shows, will he be digging into his catalogue... and how deep? Any
theatrics? As big a PG fan as I am, it just seems that him standing
520160 access free awesome musis sites on the web 39 19 Jan 2010, 2:39 pm
I try to keep things simple, I love music and I play music, it's basically my life along wtih being a rathr poor student, wait that came out wrong, I don't have trouble with the material, i make very good grades, I just have trouble holding onto a dime. There are endless RSS feeds out there and I thrive on aquiring information but I don't wan tto have to pay forr it or sort thropugh a bunch of junk, so I make my own sites wioth the information I want in it, I am also a web develoer and I have put up a number of sites that are free, that's righ we don't want any of your information. The information is updated each day, and there are 10,000 Plus feature articles in each Portal, the following are related to music and thnaks for cheching them out, if you like it please poass the info along.
Steve Hackett on a R&R HoF reunion performance 18 Jan 2010, 6:41 pm
A few minutes ago in response to a question I asked him on Facebook: "I'm going to New York in March as part of the induction ceremony, but
no performance is planned - officially. Then in June/July I'm hoping
to tour in the States". - Steve Hackett
Does anyone know who did the vocals on "Making A big Mistake" by Mike Rutherford? 14 Jan 2010, 1:38 pm
A song I've always loved off the 1984 "Against all Odds" soundtrack, but could never work out the vocalist, coming as it did, in between "Acting Very
Strange"(1982) with Mike doing the vocals, and the Mechanics(1985)
It sounds like more like Paul Carrack than Mike, but pre-dates the Mechanics
by a year. Could this be Mike and Paul's first collaboration?
Five Man Reunion 9 Jan 2010, 11:38 am
I reckon all Genesis fans would love to see the Classic five-man line-up play at the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame show, so I hope Tony, Phil and Mike
can persuade Peter and Steve to play the show.
If anyone has hopes of seeing them go out on tour can forget it, it's
never going to happen, so this one-off may be the last opportunity to
...they say a snow year's a good year... 8 Jan 2010, 3:27 pm
Snowbound Lyrics by Genesis Lay your body down upon the midnight snow
Feel the cold of winter in your hair
Here in a world of your own
In a casing that's grown
To the children's delight
That arrived on the night
Here they come to play their magic games
Carving names upon your frozen hand
Here in a world of your own
